Cutting metal parts

Metal cutting is a material removal and forming method in metal forming process, which still occupies a large proportion in today's mechanical manufacturing. Metal cutting process is the interaction between workpiece and tool. The tool cuts off the surplus metal from the workpiece to be processed, and under the premise of controlling the productivity and cost, the workpiece can obtain the geometric accuracy, dimensional accuracy and surface quality that meet the design and process requirements. In order to realize this process, there must be relative motion between the workpiece and the cutter, that is, cutting motion, which is provided by metal cutting machine tool. Machine tool, fixture, cutter and workpiece constitute a machining process system.
